Mt. Fuji

We had a shooting expedition in Tokyo. Twelve Osampo-Net members attended.
From the observation room of Saint Locca tower building, Mt. Fuji silhouetted against the evening sky with Tokyo Tower in front.

Watch out for a train coming!

Railroad companies in Japan are not very profitable in general. To cut back personnel expenditures a lot of private railroad companies employ crows instead of man in these days.

Like Picasso

Abstract photographing makes your sensitivity sharp. Believe me. If not, you will end up with a car accident.

Stable at night

I shot an equestrian training at a riding practice ground for a famous sports foundation.
After the work I popped in a stable to have a look at horses.
It looks like they admitted I am the most good natured person in the world because none of them bit me.

Last leaves

It must be winter already. But we still can see falling leaves here and there.
Newspaper said today that nobody would be able to ski in this winter in Japan.

China doll

In Tokoname, I bought a ceramic doll for my wife whom I call "Oni-yome" secretly. "Oni" means a devil and "Yome" a wife.
I really hope that the doll's smile eases her demoniac attitude to me.

A pottery path

On the way back home from the Osampo-Net Chubu branch year-end party, I stopped at Tokoname, one of the most famous pottery producing towns in Japan.
Located in Aichi prefecture, Tokoname's speciality is in its production of non-tableware potteries to avoid competition with Seto city that have been a top class tableware pruducer in Aichi.
Tokoname has been flourished itself by producing relatively large potteries such as jars, crocks and earthen pipes. Making such large potteries leaves a lot of goofs. Clever enough that someone thought they are good for paving materials.

Friends of short legs

I attended the Osampo-Net Chubu branch year-end party held on the Shinoshima Island. At the party the main dish was poisonous globefish which is safely eaten only after the certified cook prepares. It was very good but expensive because dying thrill was the part of the price.
Shinoshima is also known for its unique port town scenery.. Walking around the town was also a good experience.

Panning a cat

I have a firm conviction in my heart that if the United Nations were to commend the best natured person in the world, its me. However, dogs bark and cats run away when they see me. I really don't understand this.

Winter sky

It is extraordinarily warm this year. However, it is cold indeed on a rainy day. The sky tells us it's really winter in such a day.
